AparajitaMahila Welfare Association is a registered All Women Organisation established in the year 2004 in Gokuldham (Goregaon East, Mumbai). Besides organizing its flagship SharodiyaDurgotsav, it is dedicatedly involved in various philanthropic activities. It also conducts social and cultural events to nurture and preserve the rich cultural heritage of India. Team Aparajita is also focused on harnessing the latent talents of its members as well as upcoming artists by providing respective platforms. Aparajita, the invincible, as the name suggests, stands as a pillar of strength and service to society.
Women power is an incarnation of Shakti, who is the Goddess of power. Once we are bestowed with her blessings our strength increases manifold. Aparajita Mahila Welfare Association is the symbol of 'Nari Shakti' and Women empowerment is the "Mantra" of the Aparajitas.
Aparajita Mahila Welfare Association was founded in the year 2004. An all women team of forty members initially started celebrating Sharodiya Durgotsav and eventually stepped into philanthropic work and cultural activities as well.
Aparajita aims to preserve and nurture our rich cultural heritage and also promote and create awareness of its value amongst the younger generations by organizing cultural programs and stage shows. Even virtual cultural events during the pandemic maintained the continuity of Aparajita's dedication in this field.
Durga Puja is an annual festival of Aparajita Mahila Welfare Association. It is a socio – religious event, the festival of spirituality, devotion and happiness.We celebrate Durga Puja as a public festival with great enthusiasm and zeal. We distribute bhog prasad on 7th, 8th & 9th day of Navaratri to all irrespective of caste & creed and maintain harmony among the people from diverse society.
